Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Pharmacy Intern to join our Ohio pharmacy team. You will assist patients in person and by phone, help with product selection, and support price inquiries while preparing prescriptions and entering data in the pharmacy system.

Responsibilities include processing prescriptions, third-party adjudication, inventory management, and supporting clinical services under supervision. Strong communication and confidentiality are essential for patient care.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited pharmacy program.
• Pharmacy intern license (state-specific) required or in progress.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities.
• Commitment to patient confidentiality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Customer service: assist patients in person and by phone, help with product selection, and answer pricing questions.
• Process and fill prescriptions; enter data in the pharmacy system and handle third-party adjudication.
• Inventory management: monitor balance on hand, order products, and process transfers.
• Support clinical services and MTM tasks under supervision as needed.
• Maintain accuracy and compliance with policies and procedures.
