Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Pharmacy Intern to assist customers, process and fill prescriptions, and support clinical services under supervision. You will work with the pharmacy team to manage inventory, perform third‑party functions, and engage with patients for a quality health experience.

Responsibilities

• Customer service.
• Communicating with patients in person and via telephone; assisting patients with product selection; obtaining medication prices.
• Processing and filling prescriptions.
• Using pharmacy computer system for prescription data entry & third party adjudication; pulling products from the shelf; labeling prescriptions at fill station; Will Call transactions.
• Third-party functions.
• Inventory management.
• Updating balance on hand; product ordering; checking Meijer codes; receiving orders; vendor charge backs/transfers/salvage.
• Clinical services.
