Job summary

CVS Health in Texas is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply classroom learning in real-world pharmacy operations across our stores. Under a licensed pharmacist, you'll follow SOPs, assist with filling prescriptions, support immunizations, and engage patients with care and empathy.

You will learn store, district, and regional operations, participate in training roadmaps, and help ensure safe, accurate dispensing while maintaining privacy and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs at each workstation to support pharmacists and technicians.
• Assist with safe and accurate prescription fulfillment across the workflow.
• Counsel patients and respond to medical questions under supervision when appropriate.
• Support immunizations and other patient care services as allowed by law.
• Maintain inventory activities and assist in store operations as directed by leadership.
• Demonstrate empathy and effective communication in all patient and colleague interactions.
