Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to gain hands-on experience in a store pharmacy. You will work under a preceptor, following a structured training roadmap to build practical skills and clinical knowledge while supporting daily pharmacy operations and patient care.

You will handle dispensing tasks, learn immunization basics when allowed, and collaborate with pharmacists and technicians to ensure safe, accurate prescriptions and compassionate patient service in a real-world retail

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately.
• Support patients with empathy and deliver caring service that exceeds expectations.
• Learn to operate under SOPs, maintain compliance with laws and pharmacy policies.
• Participate in training roadmaps and KLEs to prepare for pharmacist responsibilities.
