Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply classroom learning in a real-world pharmacy setting. You will work under a preceptor to learn store, district, and regional operations while supporting the pharmacy team in safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and patient care.

The role emphasizes empathy, compliance with SOPs, and growing clinical and technical knowledge, with opportunities to assist in immunizations and other patient services as allowed by state regulations.

Qualifications

• ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy enrollment or acceptance.
• Must possess or be in process of obtaining intern/technician licensure.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail pharmacy environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled safely and promptly.
• Demonstrate empathy and provide caring patient service.
• Counsel patients under pharmacist supervision when appropriate.
• Support immunizations and point-of-care testing where allowed.
• Follow SOPs and maintain accurate medication records.
• Travel between store locations to cover shifts as needed.
