CVS Health is offering a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern opportunity in our Retail locations. You will work under a licensed pharmacist to apply your pharmacy education, complete a training roadmap, and gain hands-on experience in patient care and operations.

Responsibilities include assisting with prescriptions, following SOPs, counseling patients under supervision, and participating in vaccine and clinical service support where permitted by law. Some travel within the market may be required.

Qualificações

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required

Responsabilidades

• Assist pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled safely and promptly
• Follow SOPs at each workstation to support pharmacists and technicians
• Provide empathetic patient service and escalate issues as needed
• Counsel patients and answer basic medical questions under supervision
• Travel to stores in the market to cover shifts as needed
• Support inventory activities and cycle counts as directed
