Job summary

CVS Health's 3rd year Pharmacy Intern program is designed to develop future leaders in patient care within our retail pharmacy network. Interns support pharmacists and technicians in safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and patient services, while gaining hands-on experience under supervision.

Responsibilities include customer interaction, counseling under pharmacist supervision, and contributing to immunization and clinic services where allowed by state law.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required by state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Support pharmacists and technicians in patient health and prescription fulfillment.
• Counsel patients under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Participate in immunization services and point-of-care testing where allowed by state law.

Education

ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy

Valid intern and/or technician licensure
