Job summary

Stfrancis is seeking a pharmacist to provide consulting on medication use, interactions, and preventive care, including immunizations. You will ensure accurate compounding, dispensation, and verification while upholding regulatory guidelines and company policies.

Qualifications

• Willingness to obtain Pharm D from an accredited institution.

Responsibilities

• Provide pharmacy consulting on medication use, interactions, and preventive care (immunizations).
• Ensure compounding, dispensation, review, and verification of medications per regulations and policy.
• Greet customers, assist with products and services, and resolve issues to ensure positive experiences.
• Model and share customer service best practices to deliver a distinctive experience.
• Develop relationships with customers and promote healthcare services like patient counseling and med management.
• Counsel patients on medicine usage, side effects, interactions, and refer to providers when needed.
• Perform pharmacy tasks including compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and med management.
• Maintain compliance with regulations and company standards; assist manager with workflow optimization and staff coordination.
• Adhere to Good Faith Dispensing policies and controlled substance laws.
• Utilize Intercom Plus and StoreNET to support customers and staff; propose system enhancements.
• Process insurance claims accurately and coordinate with insurers/providers.
• Offer retail, clinical, and wellness services including immunizations and diabetes awareness.
• Assist manager with performance data, financials, and inventory management.
• Build relationships with local healthcare providers and engage in community outreach.
• Partner with Central Pharmacy Operations for customer registration and issue resolution, including virtual product reviews.
• Support staff hiring, training, coaching, and teamwork through the pharmacy manager.

Key responsibilities include:

About You

The company is looking for candidates who have:

• Willingness to obtain a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) degree from an accredited institution prior to starting the position.
• Willingness to obtain pharmacist licensure from the respective Board of Pharmacy within 90 days of hire.
• Certification as an immunizer or willingness to become certified within 90 days of hire.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $33.50/hr to $45.30/hr, depending on geography, skills, education, and experience.

• Maintaining current knowledge and skills through pharmacy journals, company publications, and communications.
• Obtaining necessary certifications, education credits, and training such as People Plus Learning modules as required.
