CVS Health is offering a pathway for US Non-Accredited Foreign Graduates to complete required internship hours and pursue pharmacist licensure. Under a preceptor-led plan, you’ll gain hands-on experience, develop leadership skills, and learn to deliver safe, patient-centered care within CVS pharmacy operations.

Qualifications

• Foreign Graduate from a Non-US Accredited college or school of pharmacy
• FPGEC certification
• Pharmacist licensure in the state where the position is based within 120 days
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, intern and/or technician licensure as required

Responsibilities

• Follow all SOPs at each workstation to help pharmacists and technicians manage and improve patient health
• Follow pharmacy workflow procedures for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment
• Support patient experiences with empathy and care at pick-up, drive-thru, and over the phone
• Counsel patients and obtain medical history information to provide optimal care
• Take and clarify telephonic prescriptions when allowed by state regulation
• Provide in-the-moment coaching and mentoring to pharmacy team members
• Assist with basic inventory activities and cycle counts as directed
• Collaborate with the team to expand clinical and technical knowledge
• Be flexible for scheduling and travel to stores in the market as needed
• Comply with federal/state laws and CVS policies for patient safety and privacy
• Deliver immunizations and other clinic services where allowed by law and training
