Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy Intern to support patient care in our pharmacy in Ohio. You will assist customers in person and by phone, help with product selection, and gather medication prices as needed.

The role includes processing and filling prescriptions, using the pharmacy computer system, and ensuring accurate labeling and filing at the Will Call station. The position requires enrollment in an accredited pharmacy school and a state-specific Pharmacy Intern license, along with strong

Qualifications

Enrolled in an accredited pharmacy school.
Pharmacy Intern License (state-specific).
Positive attitude, excellent communication, neat handwriting, organizational and prioritization skills.
Team-oriented mindset, timeliness & dependability, basic math skills.

Responsibilities

Customer service: assist patients in person and by phone; help with product selection and price inquiries.
Process and fill prescriptions; use pharmacy computer system; ensure correct labeling and accuracy.
Handle third-party functions; manage inventory; update balance on hand and place orders.
Support clinical services and patient care activities as appropriate.
May perform other duties as assigned or required.
