Job summary

Cognitioworld is seeking a Pharmacy Intern to deliver exceptional customer service, counsel patients, and assist with dispensing and insurance processing in a fast-paced setting in Parker, CO. You will work under pharmacist supervision to provide immunizations and maintain accurate records in the pharmacy system.

Active enrollment in a US pharmacy program and a current Pharmacy Intern license are required. A flexible schedule with benefits is offered to support career growth and patient care

Qualifications

• Active enrollment in a US school of pharmacy.
• Current state-issued Pharmacy Intern license.

Responsibilities

• Create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service.
• Establish and maintain a safe and clean environment that encourages customers to return.
• Assist the department manager in reaching sales and profit goals and monitor quality assurance standards.
• Embrace the Customer 1st strategy and encourage associates to deliver excellent customer service.
• Demonstrate the company’s core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.
• Promote trust and respect among associates.
• Provide drug counseling and discuss pharmaceutical products with customers and prescribers.
• Provide immunizations under pharmacist supervision.
• Process third-party insurance information and contact insurance companies if necessary.
• Dispense correct medication and contact prescribers’ offices for authorization.
• Input patient and prescription information into the pharmacy computer system.
