Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to apply classroom learning in real-world pharmacy settings within our retail stores. Under supervision, you will complete a 120‑day training roadmap to deepen patient safety, DUR, and SOP adherence while supporting the pharmacy team to deliver prompt, accurate prescriptions.

As you gain readiness, responsibilities may expand to supervision, inventory, immunizations where allowed, and travel to stores in the market to support operations.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post‑Graduate Training Program at CVS Health
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe, per state guidelines. Failure to obtain required Pharmacist licensure within 120 days of graduation will result in separation of employment.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
• Complete required training within designated timeframe
• Ability to concentrate on a task over a period of time
• Ability to pivot quickly from one task to another to meet patient and business needs
• Ability to confirm prescription information and label accuracy, ensuring patient safety
• Customer service and teamwork: assist and support pharmacy staff and patients
• Deliver immunizations and other patient care services where allowed by state law and training
