Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to apply classroom knowledge in real-world pharmacy settings across our retail stores. You will work under a licensed pharmacist, following a comprehensive 120-day training roadmap to deepen understanding of store, district, and regional operations.

You will learn patient safety, DUR, SOPs, and confidential patient interactions while supporting immunizations and core dispensing activities.

Qualifications

• PharmD degree from a US-accredited program (required).
• Ability to obtain pharmacist licensure within state timelines (required).
• Must possess or be in the process of obtaining intern/technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered pharmacy services under supervision of licensed pharmacists.
• Assist in immunizations, point-of-care testing, and other services as allowed by state law.
• Follow SOPs to ensure safe and accurate dispensing and patient privacy.
• Support pharmacy team with inventory and workflow procedures to ensure timely prescription fulfillment.
• Demonstrate empathy and professional communication with patients and colleagues.
• Travel to stores within the market to cover shifts as needed.
