Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning to real-world practice, under a preceptor and district leader. You will complete a 120‑day training roadmap to deepen patient safety and pharmacotherapy knowledge, while assisting the pharmacy team in safe dispensing and compassionate service.

As readiness grows, you will take on greater responsibilities in operations, SOP adherence, and cross‑store collaboration to meet patient needs and uphold quality standards.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post‑Graduate Training Program.
• Ability to obtain required Pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Assist the pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately.
• Support immunizations and other services as allowed by law and training.
• Take telephonic prescriptions from prescribers and seek clarifications when needed.
• Contribute to a safe, inclusive culture and mentor pharmacy team members.
• Travel to stores in the market to support business needs.
