Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Intern to support pharmacists in dispensing prescriptions and delivering excellent patient care. Under pharmacist supervision, you will assist with processing prescriptions, customer interactions, and basic pharmacy operations.

You will work toward completing your PharmD/Pharmacy program requirements while gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced retail setting, with opportunities to learn about patient counseling and health services.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a school of Pharmacy program.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Engages customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services.
• Assists pharmacist in dispensing prescriptions under supervision and follows SOPs.
• Supports inventory management and pharmacy operations to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
