Walgreens seeks a Pharmacy Intern to learn patient experience and assist the pharmacist and pharmacy team in accordance with regulations. You will use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions in a controlled store setting.

You will help deliver a distinctive customer experience, participate in pharmacy procedures under supervision, and grow knowledge of policy, procedures, and health services, including patient counseling and basic health services.

Qualificações

• Enrolled in a School of Pharmacy program.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsabilidades

• Learn to provide the best patient experience through assisting the pharmacist and team in accordance with regulations.
• Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
• Model and deliver a distinctive customer experience.
• Assist in the practice of pharmacy under pharmacist supervision and in accordance with policy.
• Support inventory management and store operations as directed by pharmacists.
• Participate in patient counseling and health services where appropriate under state scope.
