King Soopers in Colorado is seeking a Pharmacy Intern to assist in the pharmacy department under pharmacist supervision. You will counsel customers on medications, input prescriptions, and help with insurance processing while maintaining a compliant and welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in a US school of pharmacy.
• Hold a current state issued Pharmacy Intern license.

Responsibilities

• Promote trust and respect among associates.
• Answer questions regarding products and pharmacies to customers.
• Provide drug counseling to customers and discuss pharmaceutical products with customers and prescribers.
• Input patient and prescription information into the pharmacy computer system.
• Dispense medications and contact prescribers for authorization.
• Process third party insurance information for customers.
