Corewell Health Dearborn Hospital is seeking a part-time Pharmacist Intern to support the Pharmacy Retail team at Dearborn. Under the supervision of a pharmacist, you will assist with preparation, storage and distribution of medications while progressing toward your Pharm.D.

degree and Michigan licensure. This role provides exposure across inpatient, outpatient and ambulatory care settings within our health system, with rotating shifts and flexible hours.

• High School Diploma or equivalent, fulfilling requirements towards a Pharm.D. degree from an accredited College of Pharmacy.

The pharmacy department at Dearborn is responsible for providing medication reliably and safely for our patients. We are a resource for medication information for providers, staff and patients. Pharmacy spans across the continuum of care, from outpatient to inpatient, ambulatory and specialty to critical care.

Scope of Work

Under the direction and supervision of a Pharmacist, performs a variety of functions related to preparation, storage and distribution of medication within the health system. The student will perform higher levels of professional support as they advance through pharmacy school. Embraces the goals/objectives encompassing Pharmaceutical activities for the Beaumont Healthcare System. Promotes team efforts to manage and achieve departmental/corporate objectives. Demonstrates good judgment and decisiveness throughout daily activities and personal commitment to professional growth.
