Job summary

BayCare's St. Anthony's Hospital in Saint Petersburg, FL is seeking a Pharmacy Intern (PRN, hourly).

The role provides hands-on exposure to hospital pharmacy activities under the supervision of a licensed Clinical Pharmacist, including dispensing, drug distribution, and clinical skill development. Candidates must be a non-licensed pharmacy student enrolled in an ACPE-approved College of Pharmacy and hold an active Florida Board of Pharmacy intern registry.

Qualifications

• Non-licensed pharmacy student currently enrolled in an ACPE approved College of Pharmacy.

Responsibilities

• Under the immediate oversight of the licensed Clinical Pharmacist, support the mission of the hospital and pharmacy department and will expand their knowledge and practice skills by participating in dispensing and drug distribution, pharmacy administrative activities, dissemination of drug and product information, and development of clinical skills.

Pharmacy Intern Responsibilities:

• Under the immediate oversight of the licensed Clinical Pharmacist, support the mission of the hospital and pharmacy department and will expand their knowledge and practice skills by participating in dispensing and drug distribution, pharmacy administrative activities, dissemination of drug and product information, and development of clinical skills. Exposure to a hospital pharmacy setting enhances the Intern's awareness of the role and responsibilities of the pharmacist.

Requirements

• Non-licensed pharmacy student currently enrolled in an ACPE approved College of Pharmacy
• Pharmacy Intern registry with the Florida Board of Pharmacy
