Job summary

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs seeks a Facility Program Manager for Pharmacy Informatics to lead pharmacy information systems, automation, data platforms, and technology-enabled medication-use workflows.

The incumbent ensures clinical, operational, and inventory processes are optimized and supported by emerging technologies, including VA's transition to the Federal electronic health record, with emphasis on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Citizenship: U.S. citizenship required.
• Full, current license to practice pharmacy in a U.S. state/territory/DC.
• Pharmacy degree from ACPE-accredited program (PharmD or BS Pharm).
• May qualify under Grandfathering Provision for current VHA employees.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME and program manager for pharmacy information systems, automation, data systems and tech-enabled workflows.
• Ensure optimization of clinical, operational and inventory processes with aligned technologies, including EHR transition.
