Job summary

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs seeks a Facility Program Manager for Pharmacy Informatics to lead the pharmacy information systems, automation, data systems, and tech-enabled medication-use workflows at the medical center.

The role requires ACPE-accredited pharmacy education, licensure, and GS-13 level experience; informatics experience preferred; duties include optimizing clinical, operational, and inventory processes and supporting VA's transition to the Federal EHR.

Qualifications

Graduate of ACPE-accredited College or School of Pharmacy with a BS Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.).
Full, current and unrestricted license to practice pharmacy in a US state, DC, or territory.
Foreign grads must provide FPGEC certification including FPGEE and TOEFL iBT.
Grandfathering provision may apply for current VA employees in this occupation.
GS-13 requires 1 year of experience at GS-12 and KSAs.

Responsibilities

Serve as the facility's subject-matter expert for pharmacy informatics and information systems.
Manage and optimize technology-enabled medication-use workflows, automation, and data systems.
Support the VA's transition to the Federal electronic health record (EHR).
