Job summary

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a Facility Program Manager for Pharmacy Informatics to serve as the medical center's subject-matter expert and program manager for all pharmacy information systems, automation, data systems, and technology-enabled medication-use workflows.

The incumbent ensures that clinical, operational, and inventory-management processes are optimized and supported by current and emerging technologies, including VA's transition to the Federal electronic health

Qualifications

• US citizenship is required; non-citizens may be appointed only as allowed by VA policy.
• ACPE-accredited pharmacy degree (BS Pharmacy or Pharm.D.)
• Current, full pharmacist license in a US jurisdiction; must maintain licensure
• GS-13 requires 1 year of experience at GS-12; demonstrated KSAs in communication, regulatory knowledge, problem-solving, and analytical skills
