Job summary

Responsibilities include reception, data entry, dispensing steps, CLIA-related screenings where allowed, training of clerks/technicians, and adherence to sanitation and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Ability to handle highly confidential information.
• Completion of national registration, certification or licensure.
• Desired: any previous comparable experience.

Responsibilities

• Understand and adhere to HIPAA regulations and policies.
• Maintain current national/state registration, certification or license as required.
• Assist pharmacist in most responsibilities not needing professional judgement.
• Provide stellar customer experience while handling reception, data entry, adjudication and dispensing.
• Support coaching and training of clerks and technicians.
• Compound medications per state regulations.
• Perform post fill audits to verify prescription data.
• Support non-dispensing services via platforms and apps.
• Assist CLIA-waived screenings per law and policy.
• Provide additional health/wellness services as allowed by state/regulators.
• Ensure sanitation and safety compliance; report unsafe conditions.
• Comply with regulations; report any illegal activity.
• Perform essential functions with or without accommodation.
