Job summary

Fuze Health in Austin, TX is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to help process and pack orders, restock packing materials, interact with carriers, and support pharmacy staff in daily activities. We are looking for a team player who is analytical, detail-oriented, and reliable, with exceptional communication skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
WA Only Requirement: Must have a Pharmacy Assistant License.
Ability to work the following shift: [insert shift here before posting].
Onsite Requirement: Must be able to commute to and work at the pharmacy location during scheduled shifts.
Tools: Experience using MS Excel, Google sheets or similar spreadsheet tools, and Slack.
Ability to multitask, and know how to prioritize in a constantly changing environment.

Responsibilities

Efficiently package prescription orders with meticulous attention to detail, while maintaining accurate inventory of all packaging and shipping supplies, including cold chain items.
Contribute to daily pharmacy and office operations by maintaining a clean and organized workspace, assisting with inventory management, and supporting process improvement initiatives.
Manage interactions with third-party couriers and shipping carriers, ensuring timely package dispatch, troubleshooting issues, and making urgent deliveries when necessary.
