Job summary

Mercury Pharmacy Services, a Guardian Pharmacy, is seeking a Fulfillment Assistant in Mountlake Terrace, WA. Under supervision of a Registered Pharmacist, you will fill and package prescriptions for delivery with accuracy and timeliness.

We seek candidates with a High School Diploma or GED and WA State Pharmacy Assistant’s license, plus at least 1 year of related experience. The role offers a 40-hour week, shifts between 8 am and 8 pm, with some weekend hours possible.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of related experience (technical knowledge/skills may substitute for experience).
• Basic computer skills required.
• Ability to work independently and deliver to deadlines.
• Great attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment working on multiple tasks simultaneously, while adhering to strict deadlines.
• Quality minded; motivated to seek out errors and inquiry about inaccuracies.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, sort, scan, and pack for delivery.
• Organize and alphabetize prescriptions by patient name and correct nurses' station.
• Prepare prescription orders by verifying information and filling appropriate prescriptions from inventory.
• Apply labels to medication packaging, then scan and assemble into appropriate bins accurately and on time.
• Alert the pharmacist on duty of any medication that is not scanning properly.
• Participate in training and development activities to gain proficiency in other Fulfillment workflow areas.
• Communicate inventory needs to ensure adequate supply of medication available to complete all orders.
• Consistently meet the pharmacy’s established accuracy and productivity levels.
