Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer prior Walgreens experience.
• Prefer good math skills to fill prescriptions accurately.
• Prefer good computer skills.
• Prefer knowledge of store inventory control.
• Prefer PTCB certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service at the register.
• Assist pharmacist under supervision in processing prescriptions and providing patient information.
• Maintain clean, well merchandised counters and shelves, and check in/price merchandise.
• Enter patient and drug information in pharmacy systems and process prescription corrections.
• Handle pharmacy-related calls and clerical duties as assigned.
• Support pharmacy inventory management, including ordering and stock rotation.
• Comply with state/local laws and Walgreens policies, including Good Faith Dispensing.
• Participate in training and ongoing education to maintain PTCB certification.
