Job summary

NW Staffing LLC || dba Express Rx is seeking a Pharmacy Clerk for a retail setting. The role focuses on administrative duties, cashiering, and assisting pharmacists and technicians as needed.

You will handle front-end tasks, greet customers, process prescriptions, collect payments, and maintain organized records in a fast-paced environment while delivering high-quality customer service.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Proven communication and customer service skills.
• Strong math skills required.
• Outstanding organizational skills.
• Reliable with a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities

• Sterilize surfaces and equipment and prepare the pharmacy for opening and/or closing.
• Greet customers, answer calls, and field patient questions with a positive attitude.
• Collect payment and insurance information.
• Close and count down registers, and deposit money at the end of day.
• Keep front end shelves organized and clean, along with the rest of the pharmacy.
• Make regular OTC inventory checks and order merchandise.
• Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks in a timely manner.
• Move, lift, carry and place merchandise and supplies weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance.
• Frequent repetitive motion with hand(s) and arm(s), such as grasping, gripping and turning.
• Stand and/or walk frequently throughout work shift.
• Visually locate merchandise and other objects, as well as verify information, often in small print.
