Responsibilities

• Registers sales on assigned cash register, collecting cash and giving change; handles returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges.
• Recommends items for sale and assists with OTC products; takes customers to aisles when possible.
• Operates pharmacy systems to check prescription status and relays issues to the pharmacist on duty.
• Keeps counters and shelves clean and well merchandised; takes inventory and prices merchandise as directed.
• Implements asset protection procedures to minimize loss and ensures compliance with laws for regulated products.
