Qualifications

• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer good math skills to fill prescriptions accurately, including counting, measuring and weighing medications.
• Prefer good computer skills and knowledge of store inventory control.

Responsibilities

• Register sales on assigned cash register and provide courteous, friendly checkout service.
• Assist pharmacist under direct supervision in processing prescriptions and maintaining patient information.
• Engage customers, answer questions, and resolve issues to ensure a positive experience.
• Maintain clean and merchandised counters and shelves, assist with inventory.
• Handle pharmacy-related clerical duties and process third-party claims.
