Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a customer-focused team member to support pharmacy operations and in-store service. The role involves assisting pharmacists under supervision, processing prescriptions, and delivering friendly checkout experiences for customers.

The ideal candidate will be fluent in English, flexible for evenings/weekends, and possess or be pursuing a PTCB certification, with preference for retail experience and basic math/computer skills.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• Preferred: six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Preferred: prior Walgreens experience.
• Preferred: good math skills for filling prescriptions.
• Preferred: good computer skills.
• Preferred: knowledge of store inventory control.
• Preferred: PTCB certification.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide courteous, efficient checkout service.
• Assist pharmacist under supervision with processing prescriptions and patient information.
• Manage cash register transactions, returns, exchanges, and assist customers with products.
• Maintain counters, shelves, and displays; support inventory and pricing tasks.
• Assist Pharmacy Manager with workflow and pharmacy system entries.
• Support photo area services and other store duties as assigned.
