Job summary

AndHealth is seeking a Pharmacy Liaison (Patient Engagement Specialist) for an onsite role at our Health Center partner site in Indianapolis, IN. You will support prescription processing, insurance coordination, and patient outreach to improve access and outcomes for chronic conditions.

The ideal candidate has a pharmacy tech background, strong communication skills, and a willingness to obtain state licenses as needed. This is a full-time, on-site position with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Certified or Registered Pharmacy Technician in IN required.
• Nationally certified - PTCB or ExCPT required or to be obtained within 6 months of hire.
• Must be willing to obtain and maintain licenses or certifications in multiple states.

Responsibilities

• Input patient data, insurance, and prescriptions into the pharmacy system.
• Count, pour, and label medications following safety protocols.
• Assist patients at pickup, resolve insurance rejections, communicate status clearly.
• Assist with inventory: stocking, cycle counts, remove outdated items.
• Coordinate prior authorizations with the pharmacist for high-cost drugs as needed.
• Act as liaison between patients, providers, and manufacturers for financial assistance or copay programs.
• Make outreach calls to specialty patients to schedule refills and monitor adherence.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of temperature-sensitive biologics and injectable medications.
