Job summary

AndHealth is seeking a Central Patient Engagement Specialist to join our Columbus, OH team. This full-time role focuses on medication access, adherence, and patient navigation to support chronic care management across partner pharmacies and health systems.

Preferred candidates hold a bachelor’s degree, OH pharmacy technician licensure, and relevant national certifications; multistate licensure willingness is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• BLS certification obtained or willing to obtain.
• Registered Pharmacy Technician license in OH required.
• PTCB or ExCPT certification preferred or willing to obtain post-hire.
• Willing to obtain licenses or certifications in multiple states if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Support medication access and adherence for patients in disease management programs.
• Submit and track prior authorizations and appeals per criteria; renewals ahead of expiry.
• Monitor adherence via fill verification and outreach to patients/pharmacies.
• Coordinate prescription processing, transfers, and deliveries with pharmacies.
• Serve as patient navigator across complex care and coordinated services.
• Generate reports on new patients, medication needs, and adherence data.
