Job summary
UC Davis Health in Sacramento is seeking a Specialist Pharmacist to lead in education, workforce development, and professional programs across the Pharmacy enterprise. You will provide expert consultation, develop standards, and oversee complex initiatives to advance educational excellence and patient care.
Reporting to the Assistant Chief Pharmacy Officer for the Education Enterprise, you will collaborate with residency program leadership, schools of pharmacy, and interdisciplinary stakeholders
Qualifications
- PharmD degree from an ACPE-accredited school of pharmacy.
- California Board of Pharmacy license eligible and licensed at time of hire.
- PGY1 completion or 3+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience in quality improvement, project management, or professional service.
- Ability to collaborate in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead in clinical pharmacy services within specialized area.
- Coordinate and drive operational excellence across Pharmacy Services.
- Mentor and coach residents, students, and staff.
- Support financial stability and resource stewardship for the department.
- Lead innovative education and workforce development initiatives.
