Job summary

Omnicare Pharmacy is seeking a Delivery Driver to deliver prescription orders and products to customers on a set route and schedule in a company vehicle. You will ensure regulatory compliance, maintain patient confidentiality, and support team tasking to fill prescriptions accurately and promptly.

Responsibilities include delivering to long-term care facilities or homes, vehicle checks, and adherence to HIPAA and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Possess geographical knowledge of service area.
• Flexibility required Nights and Weekends.
• Current, valid driver’s license in the state for the vehicle operation.
• Ability to drive for long periods and maintain customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely and accurate delivery of medication, equipment, products and/or supplies to long term care facilities or patients' homes.
• Load products/materials for delivery.
• Maintain vehicle and report maintenance issues.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state and local laws and HIPAA requirements.
• Uphold high professional and ethical standards.
• Maintain patient confidentiality throughout all duties.
