WVUH West Virginia University Hospitals is seeking a Pharmacy Delivery Services Liaison to ensure safe, timely transport of specialty pharmaceuticals to facilities, pharmacies, or patients’ homes. The role uses logistics software to optimize routes and maintain compliance with handling protocols, safeguarding expensive, temperature-sensitive medications.

You will collaborate with pharmacy staff, verify patient information, follow HIPAA/DOT guidelines, and provide courteous service.

Competenze

Two years of courier experience.
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Valid driver's license with good driving history.
Experience in healthcare logistics or transportation preferred.
Two years prior experience in pharmaceutical delivery, medical courier services, or handling high-value goods is preferred.

Mansioni

Collect and deliver specialty and home infusion pharmaceutical products to facilities, pharmacies, or patients’ homes.
Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations to limit drug diversion and verify IDs as needed.
Follow HIPAA, DOT, USP, and FDA guidelines for transport of pharmaceuticals.
Maintain a detailed chain of custody for all deliveries to safeguard product integrity.
Provide professional and courteous service to clients, patients, and healthcare providers.
Utilize logistics planning software to optimize delivery routes and coordinate with management.
