OVP Health Care is seeking a Pharmacy Courier to safely transport prescription medications and supplies across the Tri-State area. You will verify recipient information, ensure accuracy of deliveries, and maintain confidentiality per HIPAA, while providing professional customer service.

The role emphasizes timely deliveries, adherence to schedules, and accurate documentation, with occasional evening or weekend shifts as needed. A clean driving record and ability to lift 30 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Previous courier, delivery, or driving experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and perform repetitive bending, reaching, and walking.
• Knowledge of the Tri-State area preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a company-provided vehicle to deliver medications and supplies.
• Verify addresses, patient information, and medication packages prior to departure.
• Maintain security and confidentiality of all deliveries per HIPAA and policies.
• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with patients, caregivers, and healthcare staff.
• Adhere to delivery schedules and routes to ensure timeliness.
• Complete delivery logs, receipts, and related paperwork accurately.
• Conduct basic vehicle checks and report maintenance needs promptly.
• Follow traffic laws, safety guidelines, and company driving policies.
