Actalent is seeking a dependable Pharmacy Data Technician to join our team in Ankeny, IA. You will enter new and refill prescriptions into our operating system, triage incoming faxes, and ensure accurate notes and cycle fill coding while coordinating with doctors offices for refills.

The role requires Pharmacy Technician certification, data entry proficiency, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Mansioni

• Enter new and refill prescriptions into the operating system accurately and timely.
• Triage incoming fax prescriptions for prompt dispensing.
• Ensure proper notes and cycle fill coding in the computer system.
• Calculate and verify correct prescription dosages.
• Receive, evaluate, process, and follow up with doctors' offices on refills.
• Develop proficiency in pharmacy systems, including document imaging and legacy systems.
• Assist with filing completed orders, packaging medications, profiling orders for medical records, and dispensing processed prescriptions.
• Maintain data entry records for cycle medications and process cycle medication orders.
