The ideal candidate will hold a state license/certification, have 2+ years of experience, and be proficient with pharmacy software in a fast-paced environment. Hybrid schedule after training and competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifikationen

• HS Diploma or GED as required by state.
• Pharmacy Technician license/certification/registration; National Certification preferred (PTCB).
• 2+ years of related experience (advanced degree may substitute for experience).
• Advanced computer skills; pharmacy operations system experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Aufgaben

• Enter new and refill prescriptions accurately into the operating system.
• Triage incoming fax prescriptions to ensure timely dispensing.
• Verify correct dosage and add proper notes.
• Respond to customer calls with courtesy and resolve issues.
• Maintain records and ensure prescriptions are completed in shift.
• Coordinate with doctors' offices on refills.
• Develop proficiency with all pharmacy systems.
• Assist with filing, inventory, and packaging as needed.
• Meet delivery deadlines and maintain cycle medication records.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
