Job summary

Guardian Pharmacy, LLC is seeking an organized pharmacy technician in Ankeny, IA to assist in filling medications, ensure timely delivery, and maintain accurate totes and manifests. You will support the delivery workflow and participate in inventory tasks while upholding high standards of accuracy and efficiency.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, strong computer skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Assist in filling medication orders.
• Prioritize work to meet delivery schedules.
• Pull labels to maintain workflow.
• Sort and scan orders into correct totes.
• Monitor delivery dashboard and ensure next-run prescriptions are scanned and completed.
• Perform checks to ensure totes contents match manifests.
• Return medications to shelf throughout the day.
• Assist in quarterly physical inventory process.
• Communicate issues to Pharmacy Operations Director.
• Serve as back-up fill tech or cycle stager as needed.
• Arrange delivery totes by routes and sort medications by route.
• Prepare controlled meds for delivery and maintain a clean scanning area.
