Job summary

Alignment Health is seeking a Data Scientist for the Pharmacy team to advance analytics behind Star measures in Medicare Advantage. You’ll translate business needs into scalable ML solutions, design dashboards, and forecast Star outcomes under CMS methodologies.

You will work with data engineers and leadership to prioritize investments, deploy models via Git/CI-CD, and push for AI-readiness across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field (PhD a plus).
• Experience in predictive modeling, data analysis, and real-world ML applications.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Pharmacy leadership to understand business problems and propose analytical solutions.
• Convert models and rules into scalable, production-ready tools.
• Design dashboards and reporting tracking Stars trajectories and intervention impact.
• Build projection and simulation models for Star Rating outcomes under CMS scenarios.
• Collaborate with data and engineering teams to version, test, and deploy models.
