Job summary

FarmaKeio is hiring a Data Entry Pharmacy Technician to accurately input patient and prescription information into the pharmacy system. Reporting to the Pharmacist in Charge, you will help ensure patient safety and precise record-keeping within a busy pharmacy environment.

The role emphasizes meticulous data entry, collaboration with pharmacists, and adherence to regulatory standards to support high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current NationalPTCB certification.
• Prefer at least 2 years of experience in a compounding pharmacy environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with FDA regulations, USP standards, and cGMP principles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Entering Patient and Prescription Information: Accurately inputting new and refill prescription details, including drug names, dosages, and patient demographics.
• Processing Insurance Claims: Submitting prescription claims to insurance companies and resolving any rejections or billing issues.
• Maintaining Patient Profiles: Updating and managing patient information, such as allergies, medical conditions, and contact details.
• Collaborating with Pharmacists: Working closely with pharmacists and other pharmacy staff to address data discrepancies and verify prescription details.
