Job summary

Evexias is actively seeking a Data Entry Pharmacy Technician to accurately enter patient and prescription information into the pharmacy system. You will work under the Pharmacist in Charge, ensuring patient safety and precise record keeping across operations.

The role emphasizes meticulous data handling, collaboration with pharmacists, and maintaining up-to-date patient profiles to support high-quality pharmaceutical care.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current NationalPTCB certification.
• Prefer at least 2 years of experience in a compounding pharmacy environment, preferably within a 503A regulated setting.
• Proven verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients, practitioners, and team members.
• Superior customer service and interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships and ensure patient satisfaction.
• Familiarity with FDA regulations, USP standards, and cGMP principles is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Entering Patient and Prescription Information: Accurately inputting new and refill prescription details, including drug names, dosages, and patient demographics.
• Processing Insurance Claims: Submitting prescription claims to insurance companies and resolving any rejections or billing issues.
• Maintaining Patient Profiles: Updating and managing patient information, such as allergies, medical conditions, and contact details.
• Collaborating with Pharmacists: Working closely with pharmacists and other pharmacy staff to address data discrepancies, verify prescription details, and assist with inventory management.
