Job summary

Myers and Stauffer LC is seeking a Pharmacy Analyst in Indianapolis to analyze pharmacy claims and price data, build fiscal models, and prepare datasets for clients. You will work with pharmacists, programmers and analysts to create programs that extract data and ensure accuracy.

The role emphasizes strong analytical skills, SQL Server experience and data visualization with Tableau/Power BI. Travel up to 10% may be required, with a collaborative, detail‑driven culture.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Database and spreadsheet application knowledge.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access) and Excel macros.
• Experience with relational databases (SQL Server).
• Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
• Experience querying large data sets from multiple sources.
• Experience reading/storing procedures; loading tables into SQL.
• Pharmacy or medical claims data analysis experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with rates and fiscal modeling based on pharmacy data.
• Assist on pharmacy related performance audits of health plans.
• Assist on pharmacy benefit manager audits and claims audits.
• Develop criteria and programs with the design team to analyze pharmacy claims data.
• Perform quality reviews of the data output.
• Interface with a multi-disciplinary team across office locations.
