Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mathematics, public health, epidemiology, health care, statistics or related quantitative area.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience. Health care industry experience preferred.
• Knowledge of SQL / R programming skills with emphasis in large datasets required.
• Experience with Excel and other Microsoft Office programs.
• Experience with advanced reporting tools such as SSRS and Tableau preferred.
• Experience analyzing large datasets, QA and data transformation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide reporting and analysis to support clinical pharmacy initiatives utilizing health insurance claims and membership data
• Summarize, interpret and present results in a clear, concise manner for clients
• Create visuals and dashboards to deliver insights to clients and stakeholders
• Translate business requirements into actionable ad hoc and routine reports
• Identify trends within utilization and cost, identifying outliers and abnormalities comparing to industry trends and benchmarks
• Identify opportunities for efficiencies in reporting and analysis and implement automated reporting when appropriate
