Independence Blue Cross is seeking a Senior Research Healthcare Analyst to join our team on a hybrid setup covering PA/NJ/DE. The role focuses on health care claims analytics, data-driven insights, and automated reporting to support strategic decision-making.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with health care data, proficiency in SQL, BigQuery, SSRS, Visual Studio, Tableau, and Power BI, and strong communication with business stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Mathematics, Statistics, Business, Health Care, Public Health, Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in health care analytics or a related field.
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality research and analysis.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Analyze health care claims and insurance data to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
• Develop reports and implement processes that will support business decision-making.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders in Sales, Product, Care Management and other internal teams to understand their needs and provide actionable insights.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ensure data quality and integrity by performing regular QA checks and data validation.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in health care analytics.
