Qualifications:
Pharmacy Data Analyst I
- Bachelor’s degree in business, health information administration, mathematics, statistics, computer science, or related field
- 2 years’ relevant work experience in data analysis or supporting relational database development, maintenance, or utilization in healthcare or business systems, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Pharmacy Data Analyst II
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields
- 5 years’ relevant work experience in data analysis or supporting relational database development, maintenance, or utilization in healthcare or business systems, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- STARS and MES experience strongly preferred
Pharmacy Data Analyst III
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields
- 8 years’ relevant work experience in data analysis or supporting relational database development, maintenance, or utilization in healthcare or business systems, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- STARS and MES experience strongly preferred
Skills and Attributes:
Pharmacy Data Analyst I
- Advanced SQL expertise and report-writing capabilities, proficiency in Oracle suite, Microsoft Access, SQL Navigator, and advanced Excel functions
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Understanding of corporate data systems and healthcare fundamentals
- Business acumen in finance, accounting, statistics, risk management, and project management
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Ability to create and validate procedures and manage cross-functional training
- Knowledge of managed care principles and actuarial concepts
Pharmacy Data Analyst II - In addition to level I
- Advanced/complex SQL knowledge and report-writing skills
- Proficiency with data access tools and advanced MS Office skills
- Highly advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills for presenting to management
- Ability to work independently on complex projects with significant financial impact
- Understanding of relevant corporate data systems
Pharmacy Data Analyst III - In addition to levels I and II
- Ability to work independently or with a team, mentoring or leading others on projects
What You Will Do at Cambia:
Pharmacy Data Analyst I and II
- Develop and maintain complex SQL-based reports, dashboards, and implement validation procedures
- Perform advanced statistical analysis, data modeling, and trend analysis
- Design and maintain reporting systems, ensuring data integrity
- Evaluate impacts of new products and systems on data infrastructure
- Mentor and support business analysts in reporting methodologies
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure accurate data capture and interpretation
- Make high-stakes decisions with financial impact and validate complex reports
Pharmacy Data Analyst III
- Serve as the technical expert on pharmacy data analytics issues
- Mentor or lead other analysts on projects
