Job summary

Finney's Institutional Pharmacy is hiring a Customer Service Technician to handle telephone requests, document inquiries, and route issues to the right teams. You will maintain a positive demeanor while fulfilling customer requests, processing refill orders, and handling STAT orders as needed.

Responsibilities include liaising with facilities, obtaining prescriptions via phone, fax, or email, and communicating with physicians’ offices.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy customer service experience is highly valued.
• Ability to handle telephone requests promptly and professionally.
• Familiarity with processing refill requests and STAT orders.
• Good communication with patients, doctors, and facilities.

Responsibilities

• Handle telephone requests promptly and professionally.
• Respond to and document incoming customer inquiries.
• Direct inquiries to the appropriate team or individual.
• Fulfill customer requests accurately and efficiently.
• Process refill requests and STAT orders as needed.
• Research disposition of drug orders quickly and accurately.
• Act as liaison between the pharmacy and the facility.
