Job Responsibilities
- Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
- Registers sales on assigned cash register, provides courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service.
- Assists the pharmacist, under supervision, in pharmacy practice, including using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
Customer Experience
- Engages customers and patients by greeting them, offering assistance, resolving issues, and answering questions to ensure a positive experience.
- Shares customer service best practices with team members, including interpersonal habits and Walgreens service traits.
Operations
- Provides courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service.
- Recommends items and trade-up or companion products.
- Handles transactions, including voids, returns, refunds, and exchanges; assists customers in locating products.
- Maintains cleanliness, merchandising, inventory, and records; checks and prices merchandise.
- Supports pharmacy duties, including entering patient and drug info, filling prescriptions, verifying accuracy, and assisting with workflow.
- Reports prescription errors immediately and adheres to pharmacy policies and codes of conduct.
- Handles telephone inquiries and processes third-party claims efficiently.
- Supports inventory management and maintains compliance with regulations regarding regulated products.
- Constructs and maintains displays, assists with product placement, and supports store maintenance.
- Provides customer service in the photo area and manages web pick-up orders.
- Ensures store cleanliness and maintains respectful relationships with coworkers.
- Completes special assignments as needed.
Training & Personal Development
- Maintains PTCB certification and completes required training and continuing education.
- Stays updated on healthcare and pharmacy developments.
Additional Requirements
- Must be fluent in English (except in Puerto Rico).
- Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
