Responsibilities
- Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
- Register sales, provide courteous checkout service, and assist customers proactively.
- Assist pharmacists under supervision in pharmacy operations, including using pharmacy systems, obtaining patient and drug information, and processing prescriptions.
- Engage with customers by greeting, offering assistance, resolving issues, and answering questions to ensure a positive experience.
- Recommend products, handle transactions, maintain store cleanliness, and perform inventory management.
- Support pharmacy tasks such as prescription filling, verifying medicines, and ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Participate in inventory activities and maintain store and pharmacy standards.
- Provide additional services like photo area assistance and web order fulfillment.
- Maintain store appearance and adhere to company policies and procedures.
Training & Personal Development
- Earn and maintain PTCB certification and complete required training.
- Stay updated with healthcare and pharmacy developments.
- Work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Preferably have retail experience, prior Walgreens experience, good math and computer skills, and knowledge of inventory control.
- Possess PTCB certification if available.
Basic Qualifications
- Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
- Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
