Base pay range

$16.00/hr - $18.00/hr

Responsibilities

• Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Register sales on assigned cash register, provide courteous, fair, friendly checkout service.
• Assist the pharmacist under direct supervision in pharmacy practice, including using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and processing prescriptions.
• Engage customers, resolve issues, and ensure a positive experience.
• Recommend items and promote trade‑ups.
• Maintain cleanliness, merchandising, inventory, and compliance with company policies.
• Handle prescription errors, reports, and pharmacy code of conduct.
• Process manual claims, telephone calls, and other clerical duties.
• Support inventory management and maintain knowledge of store systems and equipment.
• Assist with photo area services and pick‑up responsibilities.
• Adhere to state and local law for regulated products.
• Participate in any special assignments as directed.

Training & Personal Development

• Earn and maintain PTCB certification through the designated program.
• Attend training, complete PPLs, and maintain knowledge of healthcare and pharmacy regulations.

Basic Qualifications

• Fluent reading, writing, and speaking in English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule including evenings and weekend hours.

Preferred Qualifications

• At least six months experience in a retail environment.
• Prior experience with Walgreens.
• Mathematical skills for accurate prescription filling.
• Computer skills.
• Knowledge of store inventory control.
• PTCB certification.
